Suk SaPKota


Suk Sapkota is a resettlement coordinator with the International Institute of St. Louis. Born in southern Bhutan, he was exiled from his country and spent many years traveling between India and Nepal before eventually settling into a refugee camp in Nepal. He was relocated to California before moving his family to St. Louis. Since then, he has worked with refugees from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and other regions to help them make a new home in the Midwest. He sees his work with such a diverse population as a rewarding experience which allows him give back to others.
