GHAZALA HAYAT

“You can achieve anything you want.” This is just one of the lessons Ghazala Hayat learned from her mother that continues to guide her life today. Born in Quetta, Pakistan and raised by progressive parents, she moved to the U.S. in 1980 to complete medical studies and is a practicing neurologist at St. Louis University. As a Muslim, she has dedicated her life to fostering unity and understanding across diverse cultures and religions, motivated by her own immigrant experience. Ghazala strives to bring people of different faiths together to show that we are all humans deserving of respect and equality.
