EVELYN LINH

From Asia to the U.S. to Dubai, Evelyn Linh Truong's journey to discovering her passion was anything but conventional. As an immigrant from Vietnam, she struggled with balancing cultural expectations and carving out her own path. It wasn’t until she traveled the world as a flight attendant that she finally allowed herself the freedom to pursue her passion for filmmaking. Her love for storytelling drew her to be a student researcher on this project, and her deep connection to her heritage fuels her desire to showcase Vietnam as a place of cultural richness rather than historical trauma.
