THANH VO

Dr. Duy Thanh Vo’s story is one of perseverance, but it is also a testament to how service to one’s community can emerge from hardship and sacrifice. Born and raised in Vietnam, he studied medicine and worked his way up to become Chief Medical Officer in the military, only to have his life upended by the Vietnam War. He came to the U.S. as a refugee, determined to reclaim his medical career. Starting out as a dishwasher, he now provides care to others through a successful clinic and inspired his daughters to become doctors themselves.
