CLAIRE LOTT
Claire Lott spent her formative years in an orphanage in Gansu Province, China, before being adopted by American parents at the age of eight and growing up in Valley Park, Missouri. Often left feeling “isolated” from both her Asian American peers and non-diverse spaces where she didn’t fully fit in, she describes her adoptee experience as “somewhere in between”. The search for belonging inspired her to create a support network for Asian adoptees to share their lives with each other. Today Claire is settled in St. Louis and enjoys the logical nature of her work at a payroll company.
